The Unacceptable Racism On The Right

 Racism is the reason Republicans have been pressured, for generations, to take on affirmative action, that evened the playing field affected by fights over reconstruction and the Jim Crow Era. The stock market that Trump touts absolutely proves that the Republicans, for generations, did not need to fight or conquer civil rights to make their way in America. The wealthy boosters to southern college sports, the incredible expansion of oil companies and the wealth of the upper trier of Americans proves that African Americans never needed to be singled out as having too many rights that white people did not enjoy. 

Racism is the reason Trump tore up a peace deal that Barack Hussein Obama had Iran sign many years ago, guaranteeing regular United Nations nuclear inspections.

Racism is the reason Trump feels that citizens of South America deserve no real law enforcement, preferring to murder hundreds on the seas instead of bringing them to justice.

Racism is the reason that Trump starves Cuba and lets oil companies run Venezuela, because he actually couldn't care less about the lessons of history or anyone but himself.

And how in the world do we not say that what the Supreme Court just did was one of the most racial political acts in history ? The Supreme Court is the highest court in the land and must respect what may happen if they rule one way or another. They are not philosophers. The fact that Southern White Republican Majorities, and in some cases super majorities, are acting with lightning speed to actually pause or cancel their democracies in order to try and take advantage of the ruling, totally proves my point. This is a continuation of the Civil War and it hopefully means grave things for the Republican Party as they beg to remain in power. 

Racism has polluted black neighborhoods across the South. Racism has kept public utilities from black neighborhoods across the South. Racism kept all the services and quality of life for black neighborhoods out of reach, and now the Republicans are coming for every black state senator and congressman they can find. This is not a lack of understanding on the right's part. This is racism and if you vote for the Republican Party in America in 2026, you are a racist. 

Donald Trump is setting up a $1.7 billion dollar fund to repay both himself and other people, like January 6th terrorists, who he says were wronged. Yet black people in America are still waiting for their 40 acres and a mule. Native Americans are still waiting for Oklahoma to be returned to them. Republicans laugh at reparations, yet that's all Donald Trump is, one big fat reparation who condemns Democracy every time he says he won in 2020 or is innocent of a crime that he was convicted for. Our country was founded upon justice and our greatest strength is upholding it. Trump is such an embarrassment that he enriches himself through the government, gets crushed by Iran and sucks up to anti democratic China and Russia. He is a racist disgrace, constantly out dueled, outsmarted and outside the realm of common decency. For him to have garnered his success by criticizing his successor is your tell that a lot of racists in America need a come to God moment. And here it is, the midterms. 

Republicans keep talking in 2026 about how their rights come from God, not the Constitution or Democracy, in order to cover up their crimes. But the midterms will elect a new Senate, a new Congress and set the stage for the presidential election for 2028. We're not talking about who's going to give the reading or hand out communion. We're talking about who's going to come to Washington D.C. to fund our schools, hospitals and local police while restoring the diplomats ang letting them do their jobs (not Jared Kushner). 

Donald Trump and the Republican Party in America are guilty of two very stunning things. They have defunded the police in order to pay for an immigration juggernaut without any rules. The Democratic Party is the one in favor of funding the police, giving them all the resources they need and restoring faith in their institutions. Donald Trump, The RNC and ICE all forgot that Racism Is Illegal too. The Profiling, the violence, the injustices, we have seen this before and America not only rejected it, we rejected it in some of the very same places where we see the Supreme Court doing Bull Connor's work today. The entire reason ICE went to Minny wasn't because anything out of the ordinary was going on. The reason ICE went to Minny was precisely due to the diversity of its leadership in D.C. and its population. Listen to what elected Republicans say in public about elected Democrats from Minnesota and tell me I'm wrong. Racism will be policed at the midterms thank you very much.

The 2026 Voter Advice Column

  What happened to the business minded Republican Party ? In my lifetime, a republican is supposed to be hyper efficient and no nonsense when it comes to problem solving in Congress. Classically, a republican has no time for the slow drudge of government and the tentacles of regulation. But in 2026 that has been turned on its head by Trump and his steroid pumping leadership. Muskrat Lightning 10-16 PRIMO'S

  The Allman Brothers, The New Orleans Meters, The Jerry Garcia Band, what group on Delmarva displays the ability to jam on these greats, and their own equally as awesome catalog ?  Muskrat Lightning is the answer.
