And really, what happened to the America First Republicans ?
I'm going to handle that last one first. You know, not caring what other countries think of us isn't putting America first. Didn't the Republicans learn anything at all from Trump's disastrous tariff strategy ? Have the Republicans been paying attention every time Iran attacks an ally, let alone an American base ? It would seem that everyone's hardworking neighbors who may lack proper documentation are more America First than any elected Republican we have. Lorenzo Araujo, the gentlemen killed by ICE in Houston the other day, had sent one of his sons to Tufts University, topping anything that any Trump family member ever did in their lives. Lorenzo had been a hard working, tax paying American. He built his family a house and employed people. He sent three kids to college. Contrast this man with Trump, who sells Trump Mobile, Trump Bibles, Trump Coins and who is now rolling out the Freedom Fuel Network. The fraud of Trump is deeper than DOGE and tariffs however. Trump's been convicted of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records, in other words fraud. And he's been convicted of not just sexual crimes, he has to pay many millions like the criminal he is, very much unlike Lorenzo Araujo, the Tufts Dad.
The Republicans, so eager to do the bidding of Trump, have completely walked away from caring about Ukrainian corporations or crime families underneath their noses. Does anyone remember Burisma or the Republican notion of the Biden Crime Family ? What the Trump sons have been involved with makes these past exercises seem disingenuous at best. We're talking about the Trump name on just about everything on earth right now, with licensing agreements blessed by Republican legislatures everywhere. The corruption is insanely mainstream and the Trump family is obviously profiting off the presidency in not only an illegal manner, but in a completely hypocritical way. Whereas, we know that Burisma paid Hunter Biden $160,000 in 2019. That won't get you a cheeseburger at Mar A Lago. Donald Trump made over one billion dollars off crypto alone in his first year back in office after claiming that the Bidens were a crime family. How anyone who cares about anything finds the gumption to vote Republican in 2026 is far beyond my comprehension.
Where are all the Benghazi Republicans with all their deep probes of HRC ? The Republicans sunk HRC's presidency during those hearings, it wasn't Jim Comey by himself. But how insane does the entire Republican Party (RNC), and its voters, look today in the face of these critiques of Hillary Clinton ? They greenlit the ongoing war in Iran, supported Trump's gaslighting of Greenland and brought Putin to the states. The Republicans are murdering people all over the world without any Congressional hearings. Where are the Benghazi Republicans ? The DNC should pay to replay those hearings on late night tv every night until the midterms. Republicans claimed to have cared about the soldiers in Benghazi, but they don't seem to care about the soldiers deployed all over the world right now. There's a double standard in play. The Republicans are eliminating oversight while they usher in a new era of aggressive warfare, completely undermining the Benghazi Hearings.
And if Vice President J.D. Vance isn't the modern face of fascism, Scott Jennings will gladly take his spot. Vance wrote a book about his hillbilly roots, and just yesterday invoked his gun toting, cursing Grandmother. And just about every day, he goes on camera to talk about how bad black people are and how strange they are to him. He says they just steal, defraud the government and eat their pets. It is rich that he goes around calling poor people and minorities the problem when it comes to crime, fraud and injustice. This is the "man" who just campaigned for strongman Victor Orban in Hungary, so America First. Vance might be the largest embarrassment in U.S. history after that. Vance is also a member of a long line of failed Republican politicians whose wife definitely disagrees with everything he says. Paul Ryan and Eric Cantor have disappeared into history, after leading the party and being the new, young face. Vance will soon join them on that same trash heap.
The Democrats need a cohesive message. The contrasts are just too great to not come together on a few bullet points. And it is high time that you should be able to google Democrats and not come up with a bunch of crap that will make you want to vote for Republicans. It is not some far flung left wing idea that we wouldn't need or want to attack Iran if we had just gone with the Green New Deal. And all the evidence for climate change came from Exxon and the oil companies own researchers, not from leftists. Today, Republicans tear up peace treaties, climate treaties, pollution agreements, trade deals and fudge the numbers on the economy. The Republicans have enabled a fraudster as they sell efficiency. They fired all the experts and then tried to rewrite the rules on virtually everything. Judgements are stacking up next to bodies. But the hypocrisy from a party that seized power by screaming about corruption and the cost of living should be the most damning. This is the most corrupt and most expensive administration of all time. The Republicans are very close to crushing everything America is about.
